San Antonio mobile notary

A Texas notary who comes to you in San Antonio

In-person and mobile notarization in San Antonio and nearby, by appointment. We travel from a base near Stone Oak & US-281 in North San Antonio, up to 30 road miles, and up to 50 road miles at a per-mile rate.

Every visit is booked online and cancelled online, on its appointment page. Email is for questions. Email notary@satxnotary.com.

Every day, 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Central. Available times depend on your distance from our base; the booking page shows only times we can reach.

Online notarization through notarizetexas.io is coming soon.

How a visit works

  1. Book online

Enter the visit address to see the travel fee, answer a few questions about your document, choose a time in Central time, and save your card through Stripe.

  2. Get ready

Read what to bring, including the identification Texas law accepts, quoted in full.

  3. Sign in front of the notary

The notary identifies each signer as Texas law requires, completes the notarization, and records it in the notary record book. Your card is then charged for the notarial acts performed plus travel.

What to bring

  • Every signer you listed must be present at the visit.
  • Bring the complete document: every page, with no blank spaces.
  • If a certificate is a jurat, do not sign the signature lines that go with the jurat wording before the visit. You sign them in front of the notary.
  • If your document has places for witnesses to sign, bring those witnesses. Each witness brings identification too.
  • Each signer needs identification that Texas accepts. Read the Texas law on identification.

Everything to have ready for a mobile notary visit

Online instead

Online notarization through notarizetexas.io is coming soon. The same notary will offer it from anywhere in Texas.

Wills, codicils, and testamentary trusts are never notarized online. For those, and for other estate documents, email us first with your questions.

When online fits, and when mobile is better

Where we travel

San Antonio and nearby, including Alamo Heights, Schertz, Boerne, and New Braunfels. The travel fee comes from the road miles to your address. See the mobile notary service area and how a mobile notary visit works.

Your notary

Your notary holds a Texas notary public commission and a Texas online notary public commission, both issued by the Texas Secretary of State. About the notary

A notary is not an attorney and cannot tell you which notarial act your document needs. Ask the person or organization that asked you for the notarization.
